Our process

In this guide, we cover numerous races at the federal, state, and local levels. Our rigorous vetting and recommendation process involved a detailed questionnaire followed by in-person interviews with multiple community members. We worked closely with our Hindu allies to ensure this voting guide is as comprehensive and inclusive as possible.

Our recommendations are non-partisan and focus solely on combating hate, antisemitism, and Hinduphobia. As a result, we have recommended primarily moderate candidates from both major parties.

Given the current safety concerns among Jews in the Bay Area, we believe combating antisemitism must be a top priority, and our voting choices reflect this stance. While many voters concentrate on presidential elections, local and state races—including school boards and city councils—can significantly influence efforts to fight antisemitism. It is crucial not to overlook these down-ballot elections, as they have the potential to create meaningful change within our communities.

A huge thanks to all the volunteers who spent countless hours interviewing candidates and contributing to this effort
